Together, we’re creating something truly magical.
What we do
Spanning a range of disciplines – from curation, to exhibition design, education and events programming, visitor engagement, and technical roles - our team works to ensure every visit to Te Unua is rich in meaning and memory.
Te Unua Museum of Southland partners
We are proud to collaborate with key stakeholders who deepen our museum’s roots in the community. This includes our partnership with Waihōpai Rūnaka, on behalf of Kāi Tahu Kā Rūnaka ki Murihiku (which includes Awarua, Waihōpai, Ōraka-Aparima, and Hokonui Rūnaka) as well as global experience design firm Gibson International, and a network of community organisations who stand beside us as champions for this incredible community asset.
